This role combines hands-on field training with administrative and coordination support, including regular travel to active job sites and occasional driving support for company leadership. ScheduleFull-time, Monday-Friday (approximately 40-50 hours/week). Start times may vary based on jobsite needs. ResponsibilitiesField / Project Support<ul><li>Assist with coordination of residential construction projects</li><li>Conduct jobsite walkthroughs to monitor quality and progress</li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors</li><li>Support scheduling and project timelines</li><li>Assist with punch lists, repairs, and warranty work</li></ul> Field &amp; Travel Support<ul><li>Transport company leadership to job sites and meetings as needed</li><li>Operate and maintain a company vehicle</li><li>Plan routes and manage daily travel logistics</li><li>Assist with material pickups and document delivery</li><li>Provide basic administrative and coordination support</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid driver's license with clean record</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors and traveling regularly</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Construction or trade experience</li><li>Interest in construction management career growth</li></ul> Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally</li><li>Ability to walk active construction sites</li></ul> Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$20/hour (W-2 employee)</li><li>Company vehicle provided for work use</li><li>Fuel and tolls covered</li><li>Training and advancement opportunities</li></ul> Equal Opportunity EmployerSchaeffer Homes is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to protected characteristics.
